“Swierenga Jewelers has been such a blessing to me and my family. My grandmother would use no other jeweler, as they had earned her trust many years ago and her total loyalty to them was passed on to my mother.

When my mother went into a nursing home and her jewelry needed work, she insisted I take it to Tom and his wonderful staff in Caledonia. She just knew that her things would not only be safe, but have the finest possible work done. From my first visit to drop off something for her, I could tell why my family felt the way they did. The staff was not only polite, cheerful, friendly and professional, but they treated you in a way that made you know they had your best interest at heart. They went out of their way to do extra little things and would always ask about my mom and how things were going. Every time I walked through the door, it felt like visiting friends! 
 
Since then, I’ve had many experiences there myself. I had never taken my wedding ring off since we were married (a sentimental thing), but in checking it out for me, they noticed a prong needed to be fixed. I trusted them, but even so, Tom made sure the ring was ready for me much quicker than the normal turn around time, due to my uneasy feelings. It mattered to me, and I so appreciated having it back on my finger quickly. When I had the idea of combining a ring from my grandmother and one from my mother to make a pinky ring for myself, Tom was more than enthusiastic — taking on my project and creating it beautifully! The attention to detail and positioning was absolutely perfect! My mother passed away a bit ago and my sisters and I were left with an onyx bracelet, and had the idea of creating several pendants and earrings from it. Tom worked with me happily and the end result was priceless! All of the girls in our family, from daughters, to granddaughters and great granddaughters are all blessed to have a very special keepsake from my mom. Not only was the precision and expertise by Tom in the process remarkable, but the pricing was so reasonable. 
 
If you are looking for a jeweler you can trust, that is talented in their trade and who cares about his customers more than the monetary profit, you’ll want to go to Swierenga Jewelers in Caledonia. The staff will treat you with respect, the pricing will be very fair and the quality won’t be beat. If you’re like me, you’ll probably walk away feeling like they’re friends! I can’t thank everyone there enough and would highly recommend them to anyone!
