Jewelry Trends for Fall 2018

Since spring seemed to go out like a lamb this year, fall accessory trends are definitely coming in like a lion. We’ve been paying attention to the biggest jewelry and accessory trends for Fall 2018, and the looks are bold and statement-making! Long dangling earrings, tribal patterned statement necklaces and oversized jewelry will be turning heads all season long. Here’s what we’re seeing:

Go big.

For several seasons in a row, we’ve seen a penchant toward dainty hoops, thin, stackable rings and simple, long chains — but this Fall, mega-sized jewelry is in. If it’s chunky, iconic or statement-making, it’s the perfect addition to any simple, chic outfit. And if you can incorporate more than one element (think wood and pearl or clear lucite), even better.

Gold fever.

Gold is still having a major moment. Featured in everything from chunky chainlink necklaces to dangle earrings and belt buckles, gold will still be lighting up the runway and your city sidewalks everywhere this season.

Earrings.

Earrings are out of the box and super fun this fall. Super long, flower-themed, mixed materials (like leather, crystal and resin), and oversized statement hoops of different materials and textures will be big. And if you want to be even braver — wear mismatched earrings or a single statement one by itself!

Rings.

When it comes to rings this Fall, the pinky ring appears to be king. Vintage, heirloom cameos and even flat signet-styled designs get the biggest nods, but even dainty, stacked singletons will leave their mark when worn on the littlest finger this fall.

Brooches.

Everyone needs a little flair from time to time, and this season, expect to see beaded and new-style brooches pinned on everything from oversized scarves to jean jackets.

Leaves.

One of our favorite trends is a stylistic return to nature with gold leaves incorporated into jewelry. Leaf-shaped earrings that range from one single, large, filagree gold leaf dangling from the ear, to several strung together to create a more dramatic look.
